These past Friday night/Saturday Morning a typhoon named "ONDOY" devastated my beloved country Philippines. Ondoy possessed strong winds and rivers of rain fall that then resulted to high flowing floods as well as unpredictable landslides. Many have died, some are still missing, many are staying on house roofs waiting for them to be rescued from the flash floods.

The country (mostly in Luzon) is left in Ruins and is in need of help. Hope that some people would try to reach out and help.

What I admired among Filipino's

Filipino's help each other even though they do not know them (bayanihan), some risk their lives just to save neighbors, people on the streets and anyone who needs help. They work as brothers/sisters and parents to each other. This just shows how Family oriented and caring the the people are.

People even though in ruin are still positive and smiling. It shows how they handle things in times of sorrow.

I hope all ends well.

New thinking.

I been curious for a while... not knowing what's happening outside my circle. Curious of everything and everyone around me. Fortunately things happens for a reason, you may not know it but somehow it has a purpose.

Discovered unexpectedly and timely.
"Congratulations".

Thank You President Cory

Well, as what I heard from my mother, my auntie, my father and everyone else... President Cory is the best president who ever ruled the country, she have made her part as a human God fearing person, a mother, a grandmother, an simple ordinary person as well as the president of my beloved country Philippines. Even though i have not yet been born when People Power Revolution held in EDSA, all I can say is that she made history, make a mark of democracy, prayer and peaceful revolution and forever will be loved by all Filipinos.

I salute her for that. May Tita Cory Rest in Peace.

Thanks A lot Tita Cory.

As the day falls to night, closer and closer, time ticks and fades away...

My ate Maan (my eldest Sister), Kuya Weng (her husband) and their lovable one year old son Stephen (Ian pot) will go on a trip tomorrow to Riyadh and would live there for a year, a year later or might as well live there, It depends. My kuya is working there as a telecommunication engineer, he already worked there for 2 years and now he wants his family to be with him.

I will surely miss them especially my sister, because we grew up together, spend a lot of happy times together, she treats me often, the Kulitan moments and the way she seek my help.... ahehehe... Ian for he is the first Apo of my Tatay and Nanay, (i know they will miss him very much) he is also the first baby of the family. I also watched him grew from a tiny baby after birth to his first month, second, third,... first birthday, Christmas, New Year, Malling, Swimming, first smile, first walk, first word and first talent which is Beautiful eyes. What I'll miss more about Ian is his smile and paglalambing... ahehehehe...

They said that they would go here in the Philippines every year for a vacation... a year is a short time, we just need to keep in-touch.

I need not to worry still I'll see them when they are online... but it is still different when they are around. That's why it is a Happy yet Sad Farewell...

I just got back from a Long trip, from Mauban Quezon to Antipolo. It took about 3 and a half hours road travel and 1 hour boat travel to reach the island resort of my barkada (Manny - our Friend). The road is always on Zigzag that's why a non traveling person may find themselves dizzy and ready to puke. We passed a lot of mountains as well as rice plains (bukid in Philippines) and tackled rough rocky roads on the way. The rough trip was worthy. After hours of traveling, we reach our destination and enjoyed the view. We experience great accommodation with the staff of the resort and were welcomed greatly. We tasted and ate a lot of different kinds of food, some are exotic and not familiar too.

As for the island, The island resort was covered with white sand, it have Bakawan Trees (Tress that grow in the sea) volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a lot of Nippa hut (Kubo) for travelers. We saw a lot of animals like snakes, sea snake, two different kinds of crab, small fishes, shrimp, jumping fishes (like when you threw rocks in sideways they bounce in the water) and lizard name "tuko'. The are few people in the island, most of them are workers but all of them are friendly.

We played soccer, basketball, volleyball, and rugby (like American football), we took pictures a lot, i mean a lot... we also sang a lot of videoke songs and drink a little alcohol. We also camp and slept near the sea using our easy to build tents to have a feeling of the nature. In the night, we made bone fires and told some stories to each other.

A very nice trip. By the way we just contributed 800 pesos for that trip and stayed in the island fro three days. ahehehe...
