These past Friday night/Saturday Morning a typhoon named "ONDOY" devastated my beloved country Philippines. Ondoy possessed strong winds and rivers of rain fall that then resulted to high flowing floods as well as unpredictable landslides. Many have died, some are still missing, many are staying on house roofs waiting for them to be rescued from the flash floods.

The country (mostly in Luzon) is left in Ruins and is in need of help. Hope that some people would try to reach out and help.

What I admired among Filipino's

Filipino's help each other even though they do not know them (bayanihan), some risk their lives just to save neighbors, people on the streets and anyone who needs help. They work as brothers/sisters and parents to each other. This just shows how Family oriented and caring the the people are.

People even though in ruin are still positive and smiling. It shows how they handle things in times of sorrow.
